How payment works

Payment is taken on the web only, through Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record). There is no in-app purchase in the mobile app: you upgrade to Pro from the web or desktop app, then sign in on mobile with the same account to use it.

7 days free — no credit card required. Nothing is charged automatically when the trial ends; to keep going you simply pick a plan. AI features are off during the trial while everything else is open, and once the 7 days are up your account switches to read-only.

Frequently Asked Questions

Get clear answers.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. After cancelling you keep access to every feature until the end of the period you paid for. There are no commitments and no cancellation fees.
You can protect your account with two-factor authentication (MFA / TOTP), and sign-ins are captcha-protected. Data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, and row-level security (RLS) on the server means you only ever reach the records you're authorised to see. Deleted items go to the trash and can be restored, and you can permanently delete your account and all of its data in one click.
Your 7-day trial starts automatically when you sign up, and no credit card is required. During the trial you get everything — notes, projects, tasks and video meetings — with only the AI features switched off. Nothing is charged when the 7 days are up; your account simply moves to read-only. To carry on creating and editing, pick Starter or Pro.
Both platforms offer the same features and are included in your subscription. The desktop app additionally gives you automatic updates and a more native experience. On both, your most recent data stays readable if your connection drops.
You can sign in from as many devices as you like: web, Windows, macOS, Linux and Android. Your data syncs across your devices. The Android app is currently in closed testing on Google Play.
Yes, in two ways: with specific people, or through a public link. Anyone holding the public link can open that note.
You can start and join video meetings inside Artiboard, share your screen and switch to presentation mode — all of that is available on both Starter and Pro. Recording a meeting and playing it back later is Pro only. The automatic transcript, AI summary and action items produced after a meeting are Pro only as well.
Starter includes the entire workspace: notes, knowledge graph, whiteboard, projects, chat, calendar, focus mode and video meetings (joining and starting them). Pro adds every AI feature on top: Arti AI, the approval-based note agent, meeting recording with AI summaries, AI ghost links and semantic search. Apart from AI and meeting recording, nothing is missing from Starter.
On the annual plan you pay for 10 months instead of 12 — 2 months free. Starter is $49.90 a year (instead of $59.88 billed monthly) and Pro is $99.90 a year (instead of $119.88).
You can pay with credit and debit cards. Payments are processed through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for your invoice.
Yes, you can move from Starter to Pro or from Pro to Starter. Plan changes are made from your account settings on the web.
Subscriptions are paid on the web only, through Lemon Squeezy. There is no in-app purchase in the mobile app. You upgrade to Pro from the web or desktop app, then sign in on mobile with the same account.
On Android you work fully offline: write and edit notes with no connection, and your changes sync automatically and quietly once you're back online. On web and desktop you get offline reading: your recent notes, projects and tasks are served from the cache, but edits are not synced.
The Android app has been submitted to Google Play closed testing and is under review; the beta is coming very soon. There is no public Play Store link yet. An iOS app is on our roadmap, but we can't give a date.
You can export your notes as PDF. Anything you delete goes to the trash first and can be restored. You can permanently delete your account and its data in one click.
Yes. When you sign up you get 7 days of full access for free — only the AI features are off, and no credit card is asked for. Once those 7 days end your account moves to read-only: you keep reading your notes, projects and files. Creating and editing again requires Starter or Pro.
You can upload files of up to 50 MB each. That limit is the same on every plan; there is no difference in file size between Starter and Pro.

YOUR DATA IS YOURS.

No sweeping security slogans — just the measures that are actually in place today.

Two-Step Verification

Lock your account with TOTP-based two-step verification (MFA). Captcha is in place on the sign-in flow as well.

Encryption In Transit

All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted over HTTPS.

Row-Level Access Control

Authorisation lives in the database itself: row-level security policies expose every record only to the account allowed to see it.

One-Click Account and Data Deletion

If you want out, you delete your account and your data from settings in one click. No support ticket, no email required (GDPR).

Built On Supabase

The database and authentication layer run on Supabase, and the row-level access policies are enforced right there.

Same openness on the AI side: semantic search and link suggestions run on a local model on our own server, while the AI agent and meeting transcription use Groq's models. What runs where?

We don't hold a third-party security certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 yet — and we won't pretend otherwise. What we do have is listed above, one item at a time; the day we earn a certification, it will be written here just as plainly.
