Focus, Search & Orphans

AI Ghost Links
The graph is no longer just a mirror of what you've done — it's a map of what you could do. The system finds notes that are semantically close but still unlinked, and lays them out as faint dashed lines.
The Link You Never Made
Two notes close in meaning get suggested before you even notice them. Hover to see the similarity score. Click and it becomes a real link.

The "Related notes" panel ranks by similarity, and you can select the ones you want and link them all at once.

Embeddings for your notes are computed by a local model (all-MiniLM-L6-v2) on our own server. Your note content is never sent to a third-party AI service for this.

Plain-language commands are processed by a language model hosted by Groq (llama-3.3-70b). When you run the agent, the relevant note content is sent to Groq.

Meeting & call recordings
Recordings are sent to Groq for transcription (whisper-large-v3). Your meeting audio does leave for a third party.

Unified Meetings
Meetings don't live in a separate app — they live next to the work. Start a video meeting on LiveKit, share your screen, switch to presentation mode. Joining and starting meetings is included in both Starter and Pro; recording and the AI summary are Pro only.
The summary is ready when the meeting ends.
If recording was on, the AI summarises what was said, pulls out the action items, and adds them to your notes. Starter is enough to join and start meetings; recording and the AI summary require Pro.
Arti AI, Your Second Brain
Arti AI works in specific places: inside your notes it summarises, translates, expands text, fixes grammar and spelling, brainstorms, suggests tasks and emoji/hashtags, and is open to free-form questions; in projects it helps you move work forward; when a meeting was recorded it produces the transcript, the post-meeting summary and the action items; in the graph it suggests ghost links and powers semantic search. Inside your notes the approval-based agent never acts on its own: it tells you what it intends to do, applies it once you say yes, and can undo it. All of these are part of the Pro plan.

Connect Artiboard to Your AI Client
Artiboard runs as an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server: an MCP-capable client such as Claude can both read your notes and boards and write to them. There are two ways to set it up — a local install using an API key you generate in Settings, or a remote connection over OAuth. No export, no pasting, no intermediate format; what it writes lands in your own workspace.

The tools that read your notes and boards need no particular plan — as soon as the connection is made, your assistant can read your workspace.
Notes closed to AI stay hidden
Mark a note as closed to AI and it disappears from every MCP tool; your assistant can neither read it nor change it.

What Happens When You Go Offline?
The answer depends on the platform, and we would rather say it plainly. On Android you write and edit offline; on web and desktop you read your latest data offline.

Offline writing and editing works only in the Android app. Web and desktop give you offline READING: you see your cached data, but there is no offline edit sync.
