WHY ARTIBOARD?
We put Artiboard side by side with Notion, Trello, Asana and Obsidian — including the rows where we lose.

All AI features are part of the Pro plan. Semantic search and link suggestions run on a local model on our own server; the AI agent and meeting transcription use Groq's models.
The offline rows compare desktop apps. Trello and Asana do support offline editing in their mobile apps; Artiboard has no mobile app yet. Notion's offline mode works in its desktop and mobile apps, but not in the browser.
This comparison was verified in July 2026. Competitor features may change.
Obsidian, Notion, Trello and Asana are trademarks of their respective owners. Artiboard is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies.
Why teams choose Artiboard
All-in-One
Notes, tasks, meetings, chat, and whiteboard in a single app. No more tab overload.
Local Model, Semantic AI
Semantic search and link suggestions are produced by a local model on our own server; your note content isn't sent to a third-party AI service for that. The AI agent and meeting transcription, however, use Groq's models — the note content you act on and your meeting audio are sent to Groq. We don't hide which part runs where.
AI Everywhere
From smart notes to meeting summaries and task creation, AI is woven into every feature.
