Artiboard plans compared: Free, Starter and Pro

See exactly what Free, Starter and Pro cover in a single table. The free trial runs for 7 days; when it ends your account switches to read-only and your existing content stays readable.

Plans side by side

The matrix below shows which plan each feature is open on: what you can use during the 7-day trial, what Starter includes, and the AI features that unlock only on Pro.

Rows marked “In trial” are available throughout the 7-day free trial. When the trial ends your account switches to read-only: you keep reading your existing notes, projects and files, but creating and editing again requires Starter or Pro.

All AI features are part of the Pro plan. Semantic search and link suggestions run on a local model on our own server; the AI agent and meeting transcription use Groq's models.

Three things that make Artiboard worth it for teams

All-in-One

Notes, projects and Kanban tasks, video meetings, in-app chat, whiteboard and the knowledge graph in a single workspace. One account, one interface, all of it.

Local Model, Semantic AI

Semantic search and link suggestions are produced by a local model on our own server; your note content isn't sent to a third-party AI service for that. The AI agent and meeting transcription, however, use Groq's models — the note content you act on and your meeting audio are sent to Groq. We don't hide which part runs where.

Where AI Runs — And Where It Doesn't

AI isn't woven into every feature — it runs in specific places: summarizing, translating, expanding, fixing grammar and spelling, brainstorming, suggesting tasks and emoji/hashtags, and free-form chat inside notes; help within projects; meeting transcripts, post-meeting summaries and action items; AI ghost link suggestions; semantic search; and the approval-based AI agent. Every AI feature belongs to Pro — there is no AI on Starter or during the 7-day trial.
